Halle Berry finds greater confidence and comfort as she turns 60

At 60, Halle Berry has found herself in a place where she feels more confident, independent, and, most importantly,, comfortable in her skin.

She appeared at Create & Cultivate’s On Her Own Terms: Halle Berry on Menopause, Aging & Women’s Health event.

“I think as I’m ageing, I’m learning that confidence just grows. It grows. You become more of yourself,” she said.

“And that’s why I say this time of life, whenever I’m talking to women, I tell them, ‘This is going to be your best chapter.'” It’s your ‘I have zero fucking to give’ chapter. And you really start to patronise yourself.”

She continued, “I think I’ve always had the ability to walk in my own shoes and walk my own path. I’ve never really been a follower.”

“I’ve never tried to keep up with anybody. I’ve realised I’ve always been in my own race,” Berry added.
