Garment workers blocked the road in the Azampur area of Uttara in the capital this morning (15 October), demanding higher wages, disrupting traffic and causing severe congestion on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway and surrounding roads.
The blockade has left commuters, public transport passengers and pedestrians facing difficulties.
Vehicles have been unable to move normally, leaving passengers stranded and struggling to reach their destinations on time.
