Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman met Wang Huning, chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), in Beijing today (6 May), with both sides reaffirming their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, the two sides reiterated the importance of the Bangladesh-China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership and expressed their commitment to expanding cooperation in trade, investment, connectivity and development.
Humayun Kabir, adviser to the prime minister on foreign affairs, and Bangladesh Ambassador to China Md Nazmul Islam, were present at the meeting.
