The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecast dry weather across the country over the next 24 hours commencing from 9 am.
“Weather may remain mainly dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country,” said a Met Office bulletin issued this morning.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds, may occur at one or two places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, it said.
Day temperatures may fall slightly, while night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged across the country.
The highest temperature of 35.6 degrees Celsius was recorded in Rajshahi and Jashore yesterday, while Tetulia recorded the lowest temperature of 20.5 degrees Celsius today.
The sun will set at 5:42 pm today and rise at 5:52 am tomorrow in Dhaka.
