Dakota Johnson is loving her new romance with MGK.
The 37 year-old actress, who first met MGK at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding in July, has insane chemistry with the singer.
“She’s happy and enjoys spending time with him,” a source tells PEOPLE as the couple are in their sixth feel of dating.
“There’s a lot of chemistry and she’s been going to the studio with him while he works,” the source adds. “For now, it makes her happy.”
The duo “started off as friends and were texting often, but now they’re spending more time together,” the insider previously added. “It’s a very new start, but they’re smitten with each other right now.”
“They both really like each other and have been seeing each other more frequently,” the source told PEOPLE.
This comes as Role Model appeared to confirm his rumoured romance with the Splitsville actress while recalling how she ended up featuring on his upcoming album Chuck Timely & the Hourglass, due out August 7.
Explaining how Johnson’s voice made it onto the track Love I You, the 29-year-old singer admitted the idea came together unexpectedly after she visited the studio.
“I had a lot of names to pick from for that, and then Dakota came to the studio one day, and Mason [Stoops, guitarist and producer] was like, ‘Why don’t you do it?’”
Then came the line that has fans convinced the relationship rumours are finally confirmed.
“I was like, ‘Stop! We’re not mixing work and relationships.’”
According to Role Model, Johnson didn’t hesitate.
“She was like, ‘I’ll do it,’ and stood right up and got in the booth and knocked it out better than we could have imagined. So I was like, OK, if she’s down — I mean, that’s an amazing cameo.”
