The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) will deliver its verdict on Thursday (29 October) in a crimes against humanity case over incidents in Kushtia during the 2024 July Uprising, involving activities-banned Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif and three other accused.
The ICT-2, which had kept the case awaiting verdict on 7 October after concluding hearings, today (27 October) fixed the date.
The other three accused are former Kushtia District Council chairman Sadar Uddin Khan, Kushtia district Awami League General Secretary Asgar Ali, and Kushtia municipality Awami League General Secretary Ataur Rahman.
All four accused, including Hanif, are absconding.
