The Bangladesh Embassy in Bangkok has announced the suspension of all consular services for Monday and Tuesday following the Thai government’s declaration of the two days as special government holidays in Bangkok and neighbouring provinces due to flooding.
The Royal Thai Government has declared 28 and 29 September as special government holidays in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani and Samut Prakan due to the prevailing flooding situation and related travel disruptions.
In a notice yesterday (27 September), the Bangladesh Embassy said its consular services would remain suspended on those two days.
Regular consular services will resume on Wednesday (30 September ), it said, expressing appreciation for the understanding and cooperation of all concerned.
