A Cabinet meeting today (12 October) discussed expanding the use of solar power as a renewable energy source and accelerating the implementation of ongoing development projects.
The meeting was held at the Secretariat in the afternoon with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman in the chair, said a release issued by the PM’s Press Wing.
The meeting emphasised expanding the use of renewable energy in the country’s energy sector and speeding up the implementation of ongoing development projects.
Various government activities and development-related issues were also discussed at the meeting.
