Biman Bangladesh Airlines warned jobseekers against unauthorised online recruitment forms circulating in its name, urging them not to share personal information or make financial transactions through suspicious links.
The national flag carrier issued the warning after detecting an unauthorised Google Form being used to collect recruitment-related information under the name of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, according to a press release issued today (31 October).
The airline clarified that it had no connection with the circulated Google Form or any activities conducted through it.
“Biman Bangladesh Airlines has neither introduced nor authorised any such form,” the release said.
The airline urged prospective job applicants to exercise caution against fraudulent recruitment activities and verify the authenticity of any employment-related announcement before submitting applications.
Biman said its recruitment notices are published in national daily newspapers following approval from the appropriate authorities.
The airline also uses the designated Teletalk online recruitment system for receiving and processing job applications.
Official recruitment notices and related information are additionally published on Biman Bangladesh Airlines’ authorised website.
The national flag carrier particularly cautioned jobseekers against providing personal information through unfamiliar links or making payments in response to unauthorised recruitment advertisements.
It advised members of the public to verify all recruitment-related information through national newspapers, Biman’s official website and the designated Teletalk recruitment portal.
The airline said the warning was issued in the public interest to protect prospective job applicants from possible fraud, financial losses and misuse of personal information.
Biman reiterated that recruitment activities conducted through unauthorised Google Forms or other unofficial platforms have no affiliation with the airline.
