From Bangladeshi side, the event was attended by the Agriculture Secretary Rafiqul Mohamed, along with representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture and BADC.
As part of previous arrangements with Prodintorg, BADC has been importing MOP fertiliser from Russia for several years.
This is the major agreement in the history of Bangladesh-Russia bilateral intergovernmental cooperation in the field of fertilisers, said the Russian Embassy in Dhaka.
