Bangladesh’s textile and apparel industry is increasingly turning to automation, digital manufacturing and advanced technologies as global buyers demand higher productivity, sustainability, traceability and faster lead times.
Against this backdrop, CEMS-Global’s 25th Bangladesh edition of the Textile Series of Exhibitions will be held in Dhaka from 2 to 5 September, bringing together machinery, technology, yarn, fabric and chemical suppliers from Bangladesh and abroad.
The announcement was made at a press conference at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka today (19 August).
The event will be held at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center in Purbachal and will feature three concurrent exhibitions: the 25th Textech Bangladesh 2026 International Expo, 26th Dhaka International Yarn & Fabric Show 2026 and 53rd DyeChem Bangladesh 2026 International Expo.
Textech Bangladesh will focus on textile and apparel machinery, automation and digital manufacturing technologies. The Dhaka International Yarn & Fabric Show will showcase suppliers of yarn, fabrics, trims and accessories, while DyeChem Bangladesh will feature dyestuffs, pigments and textile chemicals, with an emphasis on sustainable processing and resource efficiency.
The organisers said Bangladesh’s next phase of growth in the textile and apparel sector will increasingly depend on productivity, innovation, diversification, sustainability, technology adoption and value addition as global sourcing patterns continue to evolve.
A new Digital Transformation Zone at Hall B will showcase digital machinery and automation solutions for the industry.
The exhibition will also feature four seminars focusing on innovation, emerging technologies, sustainability and future industry trends.
According to CEMS-Global, the exhibitions have collectively hosted more than 1,475 exhibiting companies and 2,245 booths and pavilions, with participation from 37 countries and more than 16,000 business visitors.
CEMS-Global President and Group Managing Director Meherun N Islam, Group CEO SS Sarwar, Executive Director Tanveer Qamrul Islam and Group Director Abhishek Das attended the press conference.
The organisers said the upcoming exhibitions will provide manufacturers, suppliers, buyers and industry professionals with opportunities to explore new technologies and business partnerships while supporting the sector’s transition towards more efficient and sustainable production.
