According to the World Migration Report 2026, international remittance earnings reached an estimated $905 billion in 2024, up 4.2% from $865 billion in the previous year. South Asia is estimated to have recorded the highest growth in 2024 at 11.8%, driven by continued strong inflows to India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
