Gas pressure will remain low in parts of Dhaka, including Ashkona, Uttarkhan, Dakshinkhan, Uttara, Kasaibari, Prembagan, Kaola, Airport and adjacent areas, from 1pm to 9pm today (23 April).
Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution said emergency repair work has begun in the Ashkona area to ensure normal gas supply.
Due to the maintenance work, gas pressure will remain low in the affected areas during the specified hours, the company said.
The authorities added that efforts are underway to complete the work within the scheduled time, after which gas supply is expected to return to normal.
Residents in the affected areas may face temporary inconvenience in cooking and other daily activities during the repair period. Consumers have been advised to take necessary preparations accordingly.
Titas Gas authorities have apologised for the temporary inconvenience.
