The Independence Awards 2026 ceremony has been rescheduled due to unavoidable circumstances, according to an official announcement.
The prestigious event, which was originally set to take place on 9 April at 4pm, will now be held on 16 April at the same time and venue-the Osmani Memorial auditorium.
Authorities have confirmed that no new invitation cards will be issued for the revised date.
Individuals who have already received invitations for the 9 April ceremony are requested to attend the ceremony on 16 April using their existing invitations.
The Independence Award is the highest state honours, recognising outstanding contributions to the country in various fields.
