Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is set to hold a meeting with newly appointed administrators of 42 district councils tonight.
The meeting will begin at 8pm today (30 March) at the prime minister’s Gulshan office. The information was confirmed by Sairul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP media cell, who said the meeting is part of the prime minister’s scheduled engagements.
On 15 March, the government appointed administrators to 42 district councils, all of whom are affiliated with the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).
This will be the first formal meeting between the prime minister and the administrators since their appointment.
Sources said the prime minister is expected to provide directives to ensure effective field-level administration, with a focus on implementing the BNP’s electoral commitments.
Discussions may also cover party activities, coordination with local administration, and other relevant issues.
