Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today (8 March) predicted that rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind would take place at different parts of the country in next 24 hours commencing 9am.
“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna and Barishal divisions. Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country,” a met office bulletin said.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added.
The highest temperature on Saturday was recorded 34.2 degrees Celsius at Sylhet under Sylhet division and today’s minimum temperature is 17.3 degrees Celsius at Sylhet under Sylhet division.
The sun sets at 6:05pm today and rises at 6:14am tomorrow in Dhaka.
