The ideas, skills and talents of young people must be duly prioritised in building the nation, Prime Minister’s Political Affairs Adviser and BNP Standing Committee member Nazrul Islam Khan said today (21 February).
“Experience has its value and the most vital force for progress is the youth,” he made the remarks at a programme titled “Debate for Democracy” held at the FDC auditorium in the capital.
“The country will advance if youth potential is harnessed and the population transformed into human resources, making Bangladesh one of the wealthiest nations,” Nazrul said, stressing the need for foresight and seriousness.
Recalling the words of former president Ziaur Rahman, he said that people are not born merely with mouths to consume, but with hands to work.
