Hannah Waddingham has finally revealed why she turned down the offer to star in the hit TV show, Celebrity Traitors.
Speaking on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the 52-year-old actress shared that she was once approached by producers to appear in the first season of the BBC show, but she rejected the opportunity.
The Game of Thrones star said that she turned down an invitation to participate in The Celebrity Traitors because she was too frightened by the show’s mysterious atmosphere and challenges.
“I was asked to be on the first Celebrity Traitors in the UK but my great buddy Nick Mohammed from Ted Lasso was on it and I nearly did it because I knew he was going to be on it,” the British singer said.
“But I’m a great big scaredy-cat, this whole thing with the hoods and burying people alive, I don’t care if there is a crew there or not, hell no, no, no,” she continued.
Hannah added, “I will watch it from home with a nice red wine and some crisps.”
Work-wise, Hannah is currently busy filming her new film, Jason Statham Stole My Bike. The highly anticipated movie will be released in cinemas on August 6, 2027.
