Tom Jones has delayed his two forthcoming concerts after catching an illness.
On Monday, October 26, the 86-year-old Welsh singer took to his Instagram to inform his fans about postponing his San Diego and Los Angeles shows after coming down with the flu.
After completing 20 performances across the United States, Jones wrote in his post, “I’ve had a great time these last few weeks, completing 20 shows and singing for wonderful audiences across the USA, but unexpectedly I’ve been hit with a bad case of the flu.”
He added, “Following doctor’s advice, I unfortunately have to reschedule tonight’s show in Los Angeles and tomorrow’s show in San Diego.”
It is pertinent to mention that The Wonderful Sound crooner will now perform in San Diego on Tuesday, November 3, at Jacobs Park, while his Los Angeles show has been rescheduled for Wednesday, November 4, at The Greek Theatre.
Notably, he is “truly sorry for any inconvenience caused” but he is hopeful to see all his fans at rescheduled shows.
“All tickets for the original dates will remain valid, however, if customers are unable to attend the re-scheduled dates, they are advised to contact their original point of purchase for a full refund,” Tom Jones concluded.
