Amy Schumer and her ex-husband, Chris Fischer, have finally closed the chapter on their marriage.
Almost 10 months after announcing their split, the former couple finalized their divorce as the status of their case is now updated to “disposed” by the New York Supreme Court, according to People.
However, the exact date of divorce remains unclear. Amy filed for divorce from Chris in January
The former couple first became romantically involved in 2017 and tied the knot in 2018. They also welcomed son Gene in 2019.
Amy and Chris announced earlier in January on social media that they were ending their marriage after seven years.
The actress wrote on Instagram, “Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years.”
She continued in the now-deleted post, “We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time. blah blah blah not becisse I dropped some lbs and thought I could bag s basket and not because he’s a hot Janlmes beard award winning chef who can still pull some hot tail.”
Amy concluded the post by saying their split was “amicable and all love and respect! Family forever”.
