Former ‘South Park’ writer Toby Morton has launched a website after a woman filed a lawsuit accusing seven men of raping and drugging her at Cornwell University fraternity house party in October 2024.
The website is dedicated to documenting the account of the woman , identified as Jane Doe, her lawsuit and the school’s response to the case.
“I’m building this carefully, and it will take time,” wrote Morton on the site’s homepage.
“I’ve already received names, photographs, documents, messages, and other information related to the case. Before publishing those materials, I want to make certain that every identity is correct, every photograph is of the right person. TheCornell7.org will bring together her account, the lawsuit, public records, documented reporting, institutional responses, and additional verified information as it becomes available.”
Meanwhile, New York state prosecutors have reopened an investigation into the 2024 gang rape, a district attorney confirmed on Monday, after a civil lawsuit filed this month by the alleged victim sparked renewed outrage.
In a lengthy statement, Tompkins County District Attorney Matthew Van Houten confirmed that his office would present the case against seven alleged perpetrators to a grand jury for a possible indictment.
