Prince William has reportedly refused to take the responsibility of his estranged brother Prince Harry amid the royal family’s growing concern over Sussex’s return to the UK.
As per a report by PageSix, a royal insider has shed light on the current status of the royal brothers’ strained bond after Harry and his wife Meghan Markle pulled off their kids from new school in the UK within two days of joining.
“The Sussexes’ presence will always generate noise and distraction, and I think the first few weeks have demonstrated exactly why the royal family remains concerned,” Kinsey Schofield claimed.
The royal reporter then pointed at the recent “distractive” events that occurred due to the Sussex’s such as Harry’s failed attempt to get taxpayer-funded police protection, King Charles public notice over Harry and Meghan’s royal status and “now, a school change being played out across the front pages.”
Schofield remarked, “This is precisely the kind of rolling Sussex narrative the royal family has spent the last several years trying to move beyond.”
“At this stage,” Schofield claimed, William “has largely washed his hands of the situation.”
Because William “has his own family to protect and his responsibilities as Prince of Wales.”
Schofield said William and his wife Kate Middleton’s main focus is their kids, on the contrary, Meghan and Harry are constantly grabbing public attention.
And, Schofield admitted, she now finally understood “why another cycle of Sussex drama would be viewed as an unwelcome distraction” by royal family.
