Gisele Bündchen is reflecting on what it’s meant to welcome a third child later in life.
The 46-year-old supermodel recently opened up about giving birth to her youngest son in February 2025, calling the experience “such a gift” given where she is now in life.
“Having a baby at this moment of my life is such a gift, because I’m in a different place,” said Bündchen, who shares her youngest with husband Joaquim Valente, as she spoke with i-D 377.
Bündchen added she feels freer from outside expectations than she once did. “I don’t have anything to prove. I don’t feel like I really, quite frankly, care,” she said, adding that she now feels empowered to live life on her own terms.
“I’m not defined by other people’s opinions,” she further told the outlet. “I feel like I get to choose how I want to live my life.”
Bundchen, who also shares two older children, 13-year-old Vivian and 16-year-old Benjamin, with ex-husband Tom Brady, spoke about how she prioritises time with her children over work opportunities.
“I say no to 99 percent of the jobs I’m offered because, when I put it on the scale, I’m like, ‘Am I going to miss my daughter’s volleyball game? Am I going to miss going to the park with my son? Am I going to miss my son DJing?’” she shared.
