A month-long Islamic book fair will be held at the south plaza of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque.
Bangladesh Television, Bangladesh Betar, and other electronic media have been requested to broadcast special programmes while newspapers will publish commemorative supplements.
All the relevant organisations will organise discussions, prayer sessions, hamd-naat, poetry recitations, cultural and quiz competitions focusing on the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and on Islam’s message of peace, progress, fraternity, tolerance, human rights, and women’s dignity.
