Nepal’s Ambassador to Bangladesh Ghanashyam Bhandari today (16 August) discussed the evolution of Nepal’s foreign policy and the country’s relations with Bangladesh with participants of two diplomatic training programmes at the Foreign Service Academy in Dhaka.
He delivered a lecture titled “Evolution of Nepal’s Foreign Policy and Perspectives on Nepal-Bangladesh Relations” to participants of the 32nd Specialised Diplomatic Training Course (SDTC) and the 4th Professional Master’s in International Relations and Diplomacy (PMIRD) programme.
The ambassador outlined the evolution of Nepal’s foreign policy and its current diplomatic engagements, according to the Nepal Embassy in Dhaka.
He also highlighted various aspects of the Nepal-Bangladesh relationship, characterised by the spirit of good neighbourliness, growing economic partnership, and excellent people-to-people ties.
The lecture was followed by an interactive question-and-answer session, during which Bhandari responded to participants’ questions.
