Lacey Chabert is ready to go a little extra to celebrate a forthcoming milestone of her daughter Julia Mimi Bella Nehdar.
For those unaware, the 43-year-old American actress welcomed her only child, daughter Julia, on September 1, 2016. She shares Julia with her husband, David Nehdar, with whom she has been married to since 2013.
While promoting her new Hallmark+ series Paris Is Always a Good Idea in an interview with PEOPLE magazine, Chabert revealed that she is planning to throw a fun theme party for her daughter’s upcoming tenth birthday.
She said, “We’re very serious about planning her birthday parties, and we’re really into DIY, so she and I both make the decorations usually,” as Julia wants “a capybara crafting party.”
“Let me explain. We’re doing lots of arts and crafts, which we have prepared. I mean, we are making bracelets, we are decorating canvas bags — high level. And then, it’s going to be capybara-themed because she’s obsessed with capybaras,” the Mean Girls star explained.
Notably, Julia’s birthday holds much more importance for her as she started working as a child actress on Broadway at the age of ten.
It is pertinent to mention that Lacey Chabert is playing the role of Chelsea Martin in Paris Is Always a Good Idea, which premiered on Hallmark+ on July 30, 2026.
