The Premier Bank PLC has mobilised Tk3,003 crore in fresh deposits within 60 working days under its Special Deposit & Recovery Campaign 2026, while recovering around Tk769 crore in cash from non-performing loans during the first half of the year.
According to a press release, the bank collected the new deposits between 1 April and 30 June 2026. The cash recovery against defaulted loans was achieved during the January-June 2026 period.
Chairman Dr Arifur Rahman said the campaign’s success reflected the active participation of employees at all levels and the continued trust and confidence of the bank’s customers.
