The government has transferred 12 Bangladesh Police officers, including seven additional superintendents of police (Additional SP) and five assistant superintendents of police (ASP), in a fresh reshuffle.
The transfers were made through three separate notifications signed by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Md Ali Hossain Fakir today (23 July).
According to one notification, Additional SP Arafatul Islam of Dhaka has been transferred to the Traffic and Driving School (TDS), Dhaka, while Additional SP Shukla Roy of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has been posted to the Police Staff College in Dhaka.
Under another notification, Additional SP Md Moniruzzaman Fakir of the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI), Additional SP Md Mahamud Hasan of Police Headquarters, Additional SP Md Ashik Hasan of the PBI, Assistant SP Md Faisal Tanvir of the Railway Police and Assistant SP Fuad of the Tourist Police have been attached to new assignments.
A third notification transferred Additional SP Subash Chandra Saha of the Traffic and Driving School (TDS), Dhaka, to Dhaka as an additional SP, while Additional SP Md Ibrahim of Bhola Sadar Circle was posted to the Police Staff College.
Assistant SP Masum Sardar of Lama Circle in Bandarban has been transferred to the Naval Police, while Assistant SP Md Nadim Haidar Chowdhury of Mirsharai Circle in Chattogram has been transferred to the Tourist Police.
