BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman will present his political ideas, philosophy and vision for the country’s future to the public through a podcast, as part of an initiative aimed at establishing direct and regular engagement with citizens.
The announcement was made at a press briefing held today (29 January) at the BNP’s election coordination office in Gulshan by Mahdi Amin, spokesperson of the party’s central election coordination committee.
Mahdi Amin said, “From today, we are launching our podcast programme. Through this podcast, BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman will directly present his thoughts, philosophy and future plans to the people of the country. This is a historic initiative to build direct and regular dialogue with the public.”
He added that the podcast would not be limited to one-way communication. Instead, it would be designed as a comprehensive platform to listen to ordinary people, understand their experiences, expectations and aspirations, and outline plans for governing the country based on real-life realities.
According to Mahdi Amin, the podcast will begin airing from 7pm today through the BNP media cell and the official Facebook page of BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman.
