The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) has extended its trading hours by five minutes, effective from 17 June 2026 until further notice.
In a notification, the exchange said trading will now take place from 10am to 2pm, while the post-closing session will run from 2pm to 2:10pm.
Previously, the DSE had reduced trading hours by 30 minutes following a government directive aimed at lowering fuel consumption.
During that period, trading took place from 10am to 1:55pm, with the post-closing session running from 1:55pm to 2pm.
Under normal circumstances, the DSE’s trading hours are from 10am to 2:30pm.
