The Special Response Battalion (SRB) has arrested six members of a suspected question-leak ring linked to a Department of Youth Development recruitment exam, recovering a large number of admit cards, stamps and bank cheques from them.
The exam, for the post of assistant upazila youth development officer, was postponed on 10 October following allegations that the question paper had been leaked.
SRB-3 Commanding Officer Lt Col Fayezul Arefin confirmed the arrests, adding that the battalion would brief the media at 3:30pm tomorrow (16 October) at its media centre in the capital’s Kawran Bazar.
The exam, postponed on 10 October following allegations of a question leak, is now scheduled for 16 October.
