5 senior police officials transferred

Five senior police officers, including three additional superintendents of police and two assistant superintendents of police, have been transferred.

Police Headquarters issued a notification today (12 September) announcing the transfers. 

The notification was signed by Additional Deputy Inspector General Raihan Uddin Khan of the Personnel Management-1 branch.

According to the notification, Additional Superintendent of Police Ishtiaq Hasan Amini, currently in Cumilla, has been transferred to the Special Branch (SB).

Additional Superintendent of Police Md Labib Abdullah, who served in the Bera Circle of Pabna, has been posted to the Tourist Police, while Additional Superintendent of Police Pias Basak of Nabinagar Circle in Brahmanbaria has been transferred to the Industrial Police.

Assistant Superintendent of Police Shyamali Rani Barman of Sapahar Circle in Naogaon has also been posted to the Industrial Police.

Meanwhile, Assistant Superintendent of Police Md Rafiur Rahman, who was serving at the Khulna Range DIG Office, has been transferred to Madhabpur Circle in Habiganj.
