The investigation officer of the case, Sub-Inspector Md Moniruzzaman of Adabor Police Station, sought an order to keep them in jail. Following the plea, the court ordered that they be sent to prison.
In the remand plea, police said, the arrested accused admitted their direct involvement in the incident and said that Rasel operates a teen gang in the Shunibir Housing Society and Shyamoli Housing 2nd Project Balur Math areas under Adabor Police Station, allegedly creating a reign of terror and deteriorating law and order in the locality.

Fearing for their safety, the workers ran back inside the factory when the accused allegedly tried to forcibly enter the premises with sharp weapons, machetes and knives.
