Police have recovered the body of an unidentified homeless man from beneath a house on Toyenbee Circular Road in Motijheel, Dhaka.
Police retrieved the body today (19 March) at around 11:45am from under Wadud Mansion on Toyenbee Circular Road, Motijheel.
The matter was confirmed by Shahriar, Sub-Inspector of Motijheel Police Station.
He said the man was estimated to be around 40-years-old and was of a homeless nature.
In the morning, the owner of the house called to report an unconscious person in front of the building.
Police then went to the scene and recovered the body, sending it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for post-mortem examination.
SI Shahriar further stated that it is assumed he died of natural causes, with the exact cause to be determined after the post-mortem, while his fingerprints were checked but his identity could not be established.
