Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy is presenting a colourful programme on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr tomorrow (20 March).
To make the joy of Eid even more enjoyable for city dwellers, a special event titled “Chand Raat Eid Ananda Utsab” will be held at the academy’s Nandan Mancha at 6:30pm.
Ministry of Cultural Affairs Secretary Mofidur Rahman will address the event as the chief guest, while the director general of the academy, Sheikh Rezauddin Ahmed, will preside over it.
Organized by the Academy’s Music, Dance, and Recitation Department, the event will feature renowned artists from across the country.
Singers Baby Nazneen, Nancy, Piyal Hasan, Nolak Babu, Animesh Roy, Ananya Acharya, and Sameer Kawal will perform.
