Rain, thunderstorms likely in parts of country

Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds and lightning flashes are likely at a few places in the country in 24 hours from 9 am today (31 March), said the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.

Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions may experience rains with hailstorms expected at isolated places, said a Met office bulletin.

Day and night temperatures are likely to remain nearly unchanged across the country, according to the forecast.
