President mourns death of Dilara Hafiz

President Mohammed Shahabuddin today (28 March) expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Dilara Hafiz, wife of Speaker Major (retd) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed.

In a condolence message, the President conveyed his heartfelt sympathy to the Speaker and the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul, said the President’s Press Secretary, Sarwar Alam.

The President also said the nation would remember with gratitude the remarkable contributions of Dilara Hafiz in the field of education.
