India’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh Pranay Verma has been appointed as the next ambassador of India to Belgium and the European Union.
In a statement issued today (10 April), the Ministry of External Affairs said that Verma “is expected to take up the assignment shortly.”
Verma has been serving as India’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh since July 2022.
However, no official announcement has yet been made regarding his successor in Bangladesh.
