As Drake is riding on new albums’ successes, Kanye West is basking in the fame of returning to mainstream music, and Kim Kardashian is building her brand.
Though all three have been working separately, there was a time they were all entangled in a messy feud.
It was the year 2018.
The beef between Ye and Drizzy exploded. The immediate trigger was the latter dissing West on French Montana’s track No Stylist.
However, the enmity between the two mega-rapstars was going on for a long time.
The Canadian rapper reportedly believed the Donda hitmaker outed his secret child to fellow rapper Pusha-T.
He then, in return, referenced this in the Drake-focused diss track The Story of Adidon.
Though West denied this, still the bad blood remains in place.
Then after the No Stylish track, Ye took the beef to Twitter.
In a series of posts, the Grammy winner shared Drake reportedly asked him to sample his music, which he refused.
But the Chicago rapper did not stop there.
He also alleged the One Dance rapper bought all the front rows at a Pusha-T show – with whom Drake had a beef – in Toronto.
There, a violent attack erupted, leaving a fan critically injured.
Just sharing about this, West in a follow-up post claimed Drake threatened him on a call.
“If anything happens to me or anyone from my family, you are the first suspect,” Ye wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
But as alleged threats to West’s family had been issued, his wife at the time, Kim Kardashian, also waded in.
Writing a blistering tweet, she said, “Never threaten my husband or our family. He paved the way for there to be a Drake.”
Though this chaos erupted in 2018, not a lot has been changed in 2026, as Drake’s and Ye’s relationship is still purportedly icy.
