Listed company Kay & Que (Bangladesh) Limited is set to sell Starlink satellite-based internet services in Bangladesh as an authorised partner and sales agent of the state-owned Bangladesh Satellite Company Limited (BSCL).
In this regard, an agreement was signed between the two organisations on Tuesday at BSCL’s head office in Dhaka.
Under the agreement, K&Q Bangladesh Limited, in coordination with BSCL, will carry out nationwide marketing, sales, implementation, and operational activities for Starlink products and services.
The company will particularly focus on expanding the service for entrepreneurs and corporate customers, according to a statement by the company.
Shah Ahmedul Kabir, general manager (sales and marketing), BSCL, and Shamsur Rahman Robin, senior business development manager, K&Q Bangladesh Limited, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
The management of both organisations expressed optimism that the strategic partnership would create new opportunities to expand high-speed satellite internet services across the country, especially in remote and infrastructure-deprived areas.
They also expect the collaboration to have a positive impact on business operations and revenue growth.
