Five new deputy commissioners appointed in Gazipur, Chapainawabganj, Panchagarh, Kushtia, and Netrokona in a routine reshuffle.

The government has appointed new deputy commissioners (DCs) in five districts – Gazipur, Chapainawabganj, Panchagarh, Kushtia and Netrokona.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration today (15 March), the appointments were made as part of a routine administrative reshuffle.
Md Nurul Karim Bhuiyan, currently serving as a deputy secretary at the Local Government Division, has been appointed deputy commissioner of Gazipur.
Abu Saleh Md Musa Jangi, who was serving as a director at the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh, has been posted as the deputy commissioner of Chapainawabganj.
Shukria Parvin, a deputy secretary at the Ministry of Commerce, has been appointed deputy commissioner of Panchagarh.
Md Touhid Bin Hasan, a deputy secretary at the Ministry of Public Administration, has been made the deputy commissioner of Kushtia.
Meanwhile, Khandakar Mushfiqur Rahman, a deputy secretary at the Ministry of Housing and Public Works, has been appointed deputy commissioner of Netrokona.
The new appointments come 13 days after the government withdrew the previous deputy commissioners of these districts.
On 1 March, the government recalled the deputy commissioners of Gazipur, Panchagarh, Kushtia, Netrokona and Chapainawabganj.
