The Election Commission (EC) has called on overseas Bangladeshi voters to complete their postal voting and send the ballots to the nearest post office by 25 January.
In a notice issued today (21 January), EC Public Relations Director Ruhul Amin Mallik said the deadline is set to ensure that ballots reach the respective returning officers on time.
The commission warned that postal ballots sent after this date may not arrive in time for inclusion in the counting process.
The EC emphasised that adhering to the deadline is crucial for maintaining a transparent and participatory election process.
Voters are urged to complete the postal voting procedure and dispatch their ballots by the set date to avoid the risk of exclusion from the final count.
