A meeting of the Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, began at the Cabinet Room of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban tonight (2 April).
The meeting started around 8:45pm, according to a release from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
Cabinet meetings are usually held on Thursdays at the Secretariat. However, as the Parliament session is currently underway, this meeting is being held at the Parliament complex following the day’s sitting.
According to Cabinet sources, several important issues are expected to be discussed, including the fuel, oil, and energy situation and related challenges.
