Apollo Hospitals Chennai has officially inaugurated an information centre in Chattogram, aiming to expand access to international-standard healthcare services for patients in the region.
Apollo Hospitals Chennai CEO Naveen V and Tamil Nadu Regional CEO Dr Ilan Kumar inaugurated the centre at Jamal Khan area of the city yesterday (29 March).
According to a press release, the information centre will enable patients in Chattogram to access a range of services, including doctor appointments, visa assistance, medical second opinions and treatment-related guidance.
The centre will also coordinate with local physicians and Medical Value Travel (MVT) professionals to ensure comprehensive patient support. Through this initiative, patients will gain easier access to international-quality medical information and assistance, said the press release.
The centre also plans to organise regular Continuing Medical Education (CME) seminars and patient awareness programmes to enhance healthcare standards and public awareness.
During the event, a patient who had previously received treatment at Apollo Hospitals in Chennai shared their experience.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by local physicians, business leaders, journalists, and other distinguished members of society.
Also present at the ceremony were Associate Vice President of International Sales Group MS Guru Prasad and Managing Director and Centre Head of Unique Healthcare, Syed Rifat Faruq.
It was noted that Unique Healthcare and Syed Rifat Faruq are the only authorised representatives of Apollo Hospitals in Chattogram.
