The Peninsula Chittagong has launched a week-long Chinese and Thai food festival at its Laguna Restaurant, offering guests a buffet featuring authentic Asian cuisine and promotional dining offers.
The “Dragon & Lotus Buffet Fest” began on 7 May and will continue until 13 May, according to a press release.
The festival was inaugurated by Mustafa Tahir Arshad, chairman of The Peninsula Chittagong, and Sumedha Gunawardana, general manager of the hotel, in the presence of departmental heads and associates.
Organisers said the buffet includes a wide range of appetisers, soups, signature main courses and desserts inspired by the culinary heritage of China and Thailand.
The hotel authorities said the dishes have been prepared to reflect authentic Asian culinary traditions and provide diners with an immersive culinary experience.
As part of promotional offers introduced in partnership with selected banks, guests can avail “Buy 1 Get 1” buffet offers at Tk3,000 net and “Buy 1 Get 3” offers at Tk4,500 net using selected bank cards.
The organisers said the festival has been designed for families, groups of friends and corporate guests seeking a premium dining experience in Chattogram.
