Selena Gomez has nothing but praise for her Only Murders in the Building co-star Martin Short.
The Calm Down singer took to her Instagram account on Thursday, May 6, to penned down a sweet tribute for the 76-year-old veteran actor after she showed support to Martin on the premiere of his new Netflix documentary, Marty, Life Is Short.
Gushing over Martin, Selena wrote, “This man who doesn’t have social media is truly outstandingly witty, smart and has given the most wonderful attributes to our world of comedy.”
She went on to praise the actor’s personality, penning, “Some may not know much that follows me. But Martin Short is nothing short of a legend. His outlook on life is simply joyful.”
She concluded her caption, sharing her reaction to Martin’s documentary and urged her fans to watch it after it is released.
“I cried, laughed and empathized his entire story. Check it out on @netflix now please. Worth every minute,” she added.
At the end, Selena expressed her gratitude to Martin as one of the most inspiring people in her life.

Marty, Life Is Short will be available to premiere globally on May 12, 2026, exclusively on Netflix. The film tells the story of his life, spanning a 50-year career in comedy.
