Kate Hudson is opening up about the passion of her kid in music and hinted at the possibility of a family musical band in the future.
The Running Point 2 actress recently made an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Thursday, April 30, and gushed over her kids’ musical gift, revealing that all three of her kids are “so” musical.
”Which is great. I think I might have planned it out that way,” Hudson said on the show.
Praising her seven-year-old daughter, Rani Rose’s musical talent, who loves to perform, sing, and dance, Hudson said, “She’s got pop star energy, Rani Rose.”
Hudson further shared that there is a possibility her sons, Bing and Ryder, might start a family band.
“I think it’s gonna happen,” Hudson shared. “Ryder plays the guitar and he sings and Bing is an amazing drummer; he’s been drumming since he was about a year old.”
When the show host asked about the impact of Hudson’s own musical project as she released her debut album in 2024, she said it “changed everything” for her and helped her discover “the core” of who she is.
She added, “I had to do it at some point. For me, it was about writing my album, because I love to write music, more even than performing.”
Now Hudson admitted she is “addicted” to performing and “loves” being on stage.
“It’s my happy place,” she concluded.
For those unversed, Hudson shares Ryder Robinson, 22, with ex-husband Chris Robinson. She welcomed son Bing with ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy while she shares daughter Rani Fujikawa with fiancé Danny Fujikawa.
