The government has appointed new secretaries to the Ministry of Food, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, and the Statistics and Informatics Division.
Separate notifications were issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Tuesday (21 April) regarding these changes.
Abu Taher Md Masud Rana, the secretary of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, has been transferred to serve as the secretary of the Ministry of Food.
Meanwhile, the current secretary of the Ministry of Food, Md Firoz Sarkar, has been reassigned as the secretary of the Statistics and Informatics Division.
Additionally, Md Sakhawat Hossain has been named the new secretary of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education.
Previously an additional secretary in the same ministry, Sakhawat Hossain was promoted to the rank of secretary by the Ministry of Public Administration to take on this new role.
