Concord Group has officially handed over its newly completed luxury residential project, Syed Tower, in Dhanmondi, marking another milestone in its more than 50-year legacy in real estate development.
According to a press release, the handover ceremony was held at the project premises on Road 14 in Dhanmondi, bringing together apartment owners, their families, senior Concord officials, and project stakeholders. The event was arranged as a celebration to welcome residents to their new homes.
With over 1,200 projects delivered, Concord has developed several landmark structures at home and abroad, including the National Martyr’s Memorial at Savar, SingTel Building in Singapore, Lake City in Khilkhet, World Trade Centre in Chattogram, the original Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and its VVIP terminal, as well as early high-rise buildings in Motijheel such as Shilpa Bank Bhaban, Jiban Bima Tower and Janata Bank Bhaban.
At the event, residents interacted with Concord’s Managing Director, senior officials, and architect Mahmudul Anwar Riyaad, who designed the project. A special musical performance was also arranged for the residents and their families.
Located at House 07, Road 14, Dhanmondi, Concord Syed Tower has been designed to offer a blend of luxury and community-focused living. The project emphasises shared spaces and social interaction, a concept that remains relatively rare in Dhaka’s residential developments.
The development features landscaped greenery, water features, a double-height reception area, and rooftop green spaces. Shared amenities include a residents’ party lounge and a fully equipped gym, aimed at fostering community engagement alongside personal comfort.
Built on a 20 Katha north-facing plot, the project offers 36 apartments ranging from 2,740 to 3,200 square feet. Key facilities include a parking-free ground floor, two high-speed lifts, three basement parking levels, security surveillance, and a modern firefighting and detection system.
The project reflects Concord’s continued focus on design quality and practical planning, shaped by architect Mahmudul Anwar Riyaad.
The company said the completion and handover of Syed Tower further strengthen its commitment to developing residential spaces that balance privacy, comfort and community living, responding to the evolving needs of urban homeowners in Bangladesh.
