The 21st edition of the international tourism fair, Air Astra Dhaka Travel Mart 2026, will begin on Thursday (9 April) at the ballroom of the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka.
The three-day event is being organised by The Bangladesh Monitor, with Air Astra as the title sponsor.
Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Afroza Khanam Rita will inaugurate the fair as chief guest. State Minister M Rashiduzzaman Millat will attend as special guest, while MP M Nasser Rahman will be present as guest of honour.
More than 50 organisations from countries including Nepal, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Turkey, Vietnam and China, along with host Bangladesh, will participate in the fair across 10 pavilions and over 80 booths. Participants include airlines, travel agencies, hotels, tour operators, financial institutions and medical service providers.
Visitors will be offered discounts on domestic and international air tickets, tour packages, hotel stays and medical tourism services.
The event is also supported by US-Bangla Airlines, Mutual Trust Bank PLC, Sabre and Buy Tickets.
The fair will remain open from 9 to 11 April, daily from 10am to 8pm. Entry tickets are priced at Tk50.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to win prizes through raffle draws, including return air tickets, complimentary hotel stays and dining vouchers at leading hotels.
